Game 3 of the season for the 8th Grade Lady Bulldogs' A Team followed a similar script on the scoreboard, but felt differently from a gameplay perspective. The Lady Bulldogs were able to use their pressure defense to jump out to a 19-2 lead, but the Lady Dawgs had trouble taking the lid off the basket. Many missed layups made this game feel a lot closer than it could have been, and the frustration from the offensive end bled over to the defensive side. Heading into halftime, the Lady Cardinals fought their way back to an 11 point deficit by getting into the passing lanes and loose balls. The Lady Cardinals outscored Rolla 13-12 in the 2nd Quarter to only trail 27-16 at the break. But the Lady Bulldogs regrouped, played suffocating defense, and were able to knock a few shots down to run out to an 18-2 advantage in the 3rd Quarter. The 4th Quarter saw the Lady Cardinals hold a 7-5 advantage for the final score of 50-25.

The Lady Bulldogs started out fast again on Friday night, scoring the first 13 points of the game with their relentless pressure. The Lady Dawgs forced Salem into 10 turnover in the First Quarter en route to a 19-5 advantage after 6 minutes of play. Rolla continued their pressure early in the 2nd Quarter, but foul trouble and some tired legs led to a small run right before halftime for the Lady Tigers. The Lady Bulldogs held a 37-17 advantage going into the break. The second half was more of the same, as the Lady Bulldogs were able to get out and score in transition, taking a 53-22 advantage into the final frame. The Lady Bulldogs were able to outscored Salem 9-7 in the 4th Quarter to end the game with a 62-29 victory. The win moves the 8th Grade to 2-0 on the season.
